T.W. Rutledge – Mayan Myths
In a lifetime, you’ll want to help someone reach a goal in their lives. T.W. Rutledge is a gifted artist that creates great adventure illustrations. He currently draws and paints from the Maya creation story. I have volunteered my time to help him generate income to finish a graphic novel base on this Maya creation story. Now, I created a website with help of others to sell some of his fine art. This novel will be called Ahau -The Mayan King and the Renegade, this story is one the barely-believable tales from the encounter of the Europeans.

Our photos that have somehow been damaged over time, restoring it to improve an image. This image needed color correction, remove skin blemish, and restore lost image details.
I’ve always been fascinated by history, geneology and photography – I’m also aware of the personal meaning that photographs have for people. A restored photo allows people to see departed loved ones again, see ourselves at different stages of life, or ancestors we’ve never met but feel a connection to. Enhanced photos can take on new meaning, greater significance and initiate recalled memories – one may notice new details such as facial expressions, or the background settings in which people lived.
There is a therapeutic aspect to my work in that I am both healing a photo and creating a new possibility for connection with one’s past.
